What Sprites does in Meta Ads

Meta Ads is where the volume of work is: five objectives, a dozen conversion locations, Facebook and Instagram placements, audiences to build, pixels to check, and creative that fatigues in two weeks. Sprites is an AI ads agent that does all of it inside your ad account through the Meta Business Partner API. It creates lead, sales, traffic, app and message campaigns, bulk-creates variants, builds lookalikes, manages pixels, generates creative and copy, and analyzes results and competitor ads.

Every change is staged for your approval before it reaches the account, and a weekly Autopilot repeats the optimization without you. The Meta Ads pillar covers the strategy and the outcomes; this page walks through each workflow and what Sprites actually creates.

How it works

Connect your accounts
1

Connect the ad account and pixel

Authorize Sprites through Business Manager. It reads campaigns, ad sets, ads, audiences, pixels and results, and checks that the conversion events you optimize for are firing before it builds anything.

Get insights and suggestions
2

Pick the objective and approve the build

Say what you want and Sprites stages the full campaign: objective, conversion location, audience, placements, budget, creative and copy. Change any part before approving; approve it and it publishes.

Approve or create
3

Let the weekly run take over

Sprites reviews spend, CPL or ROAS, frequency and creative fatigue every week, stages the pause, scale and refresh changes, applies the ones you pre-approved and reports the rest for a decision.

Every Meta objective, built the right way

What Sprites sets up for each campaign type and what you get back.

ObjectiveWhat Sprites buildsWhat you get
LeadsCampaigns optimized for Instant Forms, website forms, phone calls or Instagram direct messages, with the form fields, the lead event and the audience matched to the conversion location.A lead campaign staged for approval, with the form or landing page checked.
SalesWebsite conversion campaigns on the purchase event, app promotion campaigns with the app event, and call or message conversion campaigns where the sale closes in a conversation.A sales campaign with the right pixel or app event and exclusions for existing buyers.
TrafficCampaigns to a landing page, blog post or store with placements chosen per destination and a budget sized for the goal, plus a retargeting ad set for visitors who did not convert.A traffic campaign with retargeting attached from the start.
Bulk and duplicatesCreates many campaigns or ad variants from one brief or spreadsheet, and duplicates a proven campaign into a new offer, market or audience with the parts that should change rewritten.Dozens of campaigns or ads created in one approval, consistently named.

Lead, sales, traffic, app and message campaigns

The objective decides everything downstream, so Sprites gets it right first. A lead campaign for a service business gets Instant Forms with qualifying questions and a call option; a store gets a sales campaign on the purchase event with a catalog attached; a clinic that books over Instagram DMs gets a message campaign optimized for conversations, not clicks. Each build includes the pixel or app event, exclusions, placements and a budget that fits the learning phase, named so you can read it in Ads Manager later.

  • Leads: Instant Forms, website, calls, Instagram messages
  • Sales: website conversions, app promotion, call and message conversions
  • Traffic campaigns with retargeting ad sets attached
  • Advantage+ settings applied where they fit the objective, left off where they do not

Lookalikes and custom audiences from the right source

Sprites creates custom audiences from pixel events, uploaded customer lists, app activity and engagement, then builds lookalikes at the percentage your budget and market can support. It attaches exclusions so prospecting does not pay to reach retargeting audiences, and it can detect when two ad sets overlap enough to raise costs. Ask for "a 1% lookalike of purchasers, excluding anyone who bought in the last 90 days" and that is what you get, in the account, staged for approval.

Bulk creation for testing at scale

Testing on Meta is a numbers game and Ads Manager makes the numbers painful. Sprites creates campaigns and ad variants in bulk from one brief or a spreadsheet: five audiences by four creatives by two copy angles becomes forty ads with consistent naming, budgets and events, in one approval. Winners can be duplicated into new markets or offers the same way.

Pixel and event management

A campaign optimized for an event that does not fire is the most common silent failure in Meta accounts. Sprites lists your pixels, their events and which campaigns depend on each, flags events with no recent activity or duplicate firing, and checks the setup before a sales campaign is built. It reports the fix, and where the fix is in the account rather than on your site, it stages it.

Creative generation and competitor ads

Sprites writes primary text, headlines and descriptions in distinct angles, generates image variants in your brand style, puts product photos on new backgrounds for promos, and drafts video ad scripts. Before it writes, it can pull your competitors' active ads from the Meta Ad Library, group them by angle and format, and note which have run longest. The output is creative that answers what the market is already saying, loaded into the campaign as separate ads so the test is live at launch.

Analysis that names the cause

Ask why ROAS dropped and Sprites answers with the ad set, audience, placement or creative responsible, and what it recommends. It reads results at every level, compares periods, separates creative fatigue from audience saturation from a landing page problem, and stages the changes. A weekly Autopilot runs the same review and reports only what changed and what needs you.

Prompts you can run today

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between this page and the Facebook page?

+

Meta Ads covers both Facebook and Instagram placements, and this page goes through every objective and workflow Sprites runs across them. The Facebook page focuses on Facebook-specific questions, including the fact that Sprites drafts Facebook posts but does not publish them.

Can Sprites build campaigns for every Meta objective?

+

It builds lead, sales, traffic, app promotion and message campaigns, with the conversion locations Meta offers for each: Instant Forms, website, calls, Instagram DMs, app events and catalog sales. Awareness-style reach campaigns are not its focus; it is built for results you can measure.

Does it manage the Meta pixel?

+

It reads your pixels and events, tells you which campaigns depend on each, flags events that are not firing or fire twice, and checks the event before building a conversion campaign. Changes on your website still need to be made on the site; Sprites tells you exactly what to change.

Is anything published without my approval?

+

No. Every campaign, audience, budget change and pause is staged first. Teams usually pre-approve a few low-risk change types for the weekly Autopilot, such as pausing an ad above a frequency threshold, and keep new campaigns on manual approval.

Can I run Meta Ads from Claude, ChatGPT or Grok?

+

Yes. Sprites has an official MCP server, so any MCP-compatible assistant can build campaigns, create audiences or analyze results through the same Meta integration and approval gates as the Sprites app.

Does Sprites replace a Meta ads agency?

+

That is the most common reason customers adopt it. Campaign builds, audiences, creative, testing, weekly optimization and reporting are the work the agency did; Sprites does them in your account with your approval, and the retainer usually covers the tool several times over.
