What this template does

This template takes one ad image, or a product photo and a brief, and produces the set you would otherwise wait on a designer for: square for feed, vertical for Stories and Reels, landscape for the right column and Google display, each with the subject positioned for the placement rather than cropped after the fact. Style variants change the background, lighting, composition or headline treatment while keeping the product itself intact.

Brand consistency comes from your brand kit: logo, colors and typography are applied to every variant, so a test between "clean studio" and "lifestyle" backgrounds is a test of the concept, not of stray fonts. Because the Meta agent lives in the same workspace, the finished set can be staged as ad variants in an existing ad set, and the weekly optimization Autopilot can later propose pausing the losers.

Inputs and outputs

What you provide

  • A base creative or product photo (upload, Google Drive or OneDrive link)
  • The placements you need: Meta feed, Stories and Reels, Google display, LinkedIn
  • The styles to test, for example studio, lifestyle, bold headline, minimal, seasonal
  • Optional: your brand kit, or a logo and hex colors, and headline text to place on the image

What you get

  • Each style rendered in 1:1, 4:5, 9:16 and 1.91:1 with the subject placed for that format
  • Headline and logo placement kept inside each placement's safe zone
  • A contact sheet showing every variant side by side with its label
  • File naming by style and size so results can be read back per variant
  • The variants staged as new ads in the Meta ad set you choose, awaiting approval

How it runs

  1. Step 1

    Read the creative

Sprites identifies the product, the current background and any text on the base image, and loads your brand kit if one is set. It confirms which placements and styles you want.

  2. Step 2

    Plan the set

A grid of styles by sizes is proposed with a count, so a request for four styles across four sizes shows you the sixteen images it will make before generation starts.

  3. Step 3

    Generate the variants

Each style is generated with the product preserved and the composition rebuilt for the target ratio. Brand colors, logo and typography are applied to every image.

  4. Step 4

    Review the sheet

Variants are shown on one contact sheet. Ask for changes on any cell, such as a warmer background or a shorter headline, and only that variant is regenerated.

  5. Step 5

    Stage the ads

Pick a Meta campaign and ad set. The Meta agent creates one ad per variant with your copy in a review card. Approve, and the test goes live through the official API.

Frequently asked questions

Which sizes does the ad image variants generator produce?

+

Square (1:1), portrait (4:5), vertical (9:16) and landscape (1.91:1) by default, which covers Meta feed, Stories, Reels and display placements. Ask for a specific pixel size and Sprites renders it, keeping headline and logo inside that placement's safe zone.

Does it keep my product looking the same across variants?

+

Yes. The product is preserved and the scene around it is rebuilt: background, lighting, props and headline treatment change; the product does not. If a variant drifts, ask for a regeneration of that one cell.

How does it stay on brand?

+

Set up a brand kit once, with logo, colors and fonts, and every variant applies it. Without a kit, give a logo file and hex codes in the prompt. Sprites will not invent colors or a logo that are not yours.

Can it put the variants into Meta Ads?

+

Yes. Name the campaign and ad set, and the Meta agent stages one ad per variant with your copy. The ads wait in a review card; nothing is published until you approve, and every ad is created through the official Meta API.

Can I generate the variants from Claude or ChatGPT?

+

Yes. Sprites ships an official MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or any MCP-compatible assistant can run this template, including image generation and staging the ads for approval.
